A brand identity I created for Wild, an open grill dining experience at the Bull, Burford.

Wild is a tribute to the raw and elemental power of fire, the ancient heart of the communal table, transporting guests from the frenzy of the modern world into the wild's warm embrace. Watch on as the locally sourced meats, seafood, and vegetables from the Priory garden are cooked on the open grill.

I created a series of hand-painted wild poppy petals arranged in an almost kaleidoscopic way – which not only links to the Rorschach branding from the Bull - but, when animated, gives the mesmerising effect of staring into an open flame. The colour palette is paired back and limited to shades of charcoal and white, reminiscent of the ashes.
